Vitalbrot

A healthy, hearty bread made with rye, spelt, shredded carrots, and pumpkin seeds.

Vitalbrot is dense and keeps well. It's enjoyed fresh but as it sits for a few days is best eaten toasted and buttered. Baker Caroline personally recommends eating slices toasted and spread with cream cheese or a slice of avocado.
